School colours
The Hermit Park State School colours are gold and maroon.
The HPSS house colours are red (Melton), yellow (Stanton) and green (Castle).

| - HPSS logo school polo
- Short sleeve and long sleeve options are available.
| - Music polo (special order)
- Your child may wear this on any day they have music practice or other music activities at school.
- Senior shirt
- A non-compulsory yellow senior polo is available to Year 6 students.
- Printed senior shirt (special order) Once a year, we print senior polos with the Year 6 class list on the back. A note will come home during Term 1 for this to be ordered. Only a new, unwashed and unworn senior polo shirt can be used for this printing.

| - Fully enclosed shoes (school shoes or sports shoes)

Hat | - HPSS logo reversible bucket hat
- Any broad-brimmed bucket style hat
- No hat, no play! To be sun safe, all students must wear a broad brimmed bucket style hat any time they are outside.
(Prep students will receive a prep hat as part of their resource levy.)

Jewellery

Sports
| - Your child must wear a sun safe shirt when attending outdoor water activities (e.g. water safety, swimming carnival).
| - Your child can dress up in their house colours for interhouse sports days.
- House colour polos can be purchased from School Locker, Best & Less, Big W, Target and more.
- Maroon and gold sport socks are available for block sport.

- The school will lend your child a formal performance shirt for specified events.
