Hermit Park is one of the few schools left that still operates a hand bell to signify the start and end of each session. The bell is rung by our students, therefore our routines may vary a little day to day.
The following is a breakdown of our daily routine:
School opens: 8:30am. No staff supervision is provided prior to this time.
Session 1: 8:55 - 11.00am
Morning tea: 11.00 - 11:30am
Session 2: 11:30am - 1:10pm
Lunch: 1:10 - 1:55pm
Session 3: 2:00 - 3:00pm
School ends: 3:00pm
Our school parade is held in the school hall on Fridays from 2:15pm alternating weekly between Prep - 2 (early years parade) and Years 3 - 6 (senior parade). Here we share information, perform and provide public recognition for our students of the week. Parents are always welcome to attend. Whole school parade dates and times are advertised each term.
